Horrible lastminute.com

I've just got the worst experience in my entire life with "last minute"!

No other services were so poor and non-professional and representative+supervisor were so ignorant! They sent me email two days prior the trip (international destination) that the reservation was canceled without any apparent reason! Honestly, neither the rep nor the supervisor did explain me what was the reason....

They claimed that they called me, but it's far from truth as I did not receive any voicemail. They started giving some other stupid excuse saying my bank was closed on the weekend! My bank - TD - is the only one that actually is open 7 DAYS a WEEK! And there is always a representative who will assist you on the phone even during the weekend! So what they say it's B.S. And lie!!!! (25/07/11)

  1. the same happened to me and worse is they said it takes 10 days for the money to be refunded. I am stuck as my intended flight is in 10 days time too! they need to be put out of business!!!

  3. They are a joke. Ive just called them today about booking a hotel in cardiff for a weekend, they said we found the Mercure Cardiff Centre Hotel for £73.00 for the night. This was great as everywhere had sold out. He said right thats all gone through for you I just need to take your card details. I passed these on and then he said "oh Im sorry but the hotel is sold out".. I asked how this was when he said it was booked and he said Ok we have a different one for you. Very disgusted with the service I received and not even an apology. I felt like after given my bank details I had been scammed!

  4. Victim +1. Recently used their service and I am very sorry to say that the only mistake I made is that I didn't read this post before. Lastminute is made by a bunch of people who cannot be trusted.

  5. My hitch with Lastminute.com is that it tries to perform all, therefore doesn't perform any single thing excellently well. For example, I know of enhanced websites for hotel deals (theholidayhotels.com)

  6. They are just a bunch of scam and bull shites, i wonder how come in 21st century they are allow to do any thing with customers and no one is looking in to this.

    I too had a bad experience with lastminute...booked a hotel in knightsbridge..next day I wanted the phone number of the hotel to get more details they could not supply one..also when I read further about hotel it said they have no checkin desk hotel but had to go some nearby place to check in then get transported to hotel...wenter to this street in D'oyley st London was no place there.phoned lastminute was not helpful kept on transferring me to one caller to the next..NOT HAPPY WITH THIS COMPANY...

    Oh God I think I have just been caught by the same scam. They are refusing to even tell me what hotel I have booked. Call centre staff at lastminute were really rude, transferred me twice to another number, at one point denied I had even made the booking, then denied that I had "made any request", which apparently means I never phoned them, and then when I said it's not my problem they did not take notes and asked if they wanted to see my call list, went silent on the phone. Lost £300.

    I turned up at Balfern bnb in London Saturday evening (16th January 2016) with my friend after going to the theatre. There was no answer at the bnb, the number we were calling the man was getting angry and saying it was the wrong number. Did this bnb even exist? So we were stranded in a part of London that was unfamiliar to us at night, scared and didn't know what to do. Lastminute.com say they are looking into it but I was filled with no confidence that I would get my £46.54 back, I am waiting for them to get back in touch. I feel vulnerable and cheated. DO NOT USE LASTMINUTE.COM

  11. I wish I found this blog before I used them yesterday..
    I had used them a while back no problem. .I booked international destination an email to say we processing your order few hours later an email to say my trip price has increased by £200 I called them but no joy they said we will process a refund as my flight in 2 days time I asked for a quick refund they told me to to call my bank . Called my bank I was told as I have used a direct debit I have authorised this transaction but if you can ask the agent to fax us a headed paper with this authorisation code and why the purchase has been cancelled we will make sure we will release the money back to your account. I went back to last minute to let them know what to do,the guy was helpful and he said I'll do it immediately took all details asked me to check bank for refund after few hours that was 7am at 4pm I have checked money still showing pending to bravofly.com or something.
    Phoned back told by an Asian agent to see if the have faxed the refund request to Halifax, I was told it is in a queue in another department and because it is a Friday it won't be processed until Monday I try to get info from her but she seems like stone and she only read from a manual and that she is not listening to me asked for supervisor he was even worse than her when I asked if he can help to fax the documents he went away and came back saying he could only going to send and email with the amount which was £478.23,he said there T &C doesn't allow him to send a fax: the reason he gave me baffled me saying because the money us less than £500 he won't be able to send a fax if it is £500 he would have send the fax there and then: ahhhhhrrrrgggh,and the worst he said it is in the T & C,when I asked is it available when I booked he said no but it is in use and it is their policies. .
    Warning do not use them..
    Is there anyway we can start a petition or something or a Web campaign to stop them trading in the UK.
    I'm for it if anyone interested.

  12. This is a scam company, they book your flight with the airways, then later cancel it and send you a cancellation notification. You can't call them or reach them anyway! And they won't process your refund ever.
