Lastminute.com - it will lie and lie again

The Company will lie, provide inaccurate information and will try to absolve themselves of all blame.

They will not contact you back. They will not try to rectify faults. They will deliberately mislead you, They will deliberately produce misleading advertisements. They will lie and lie again, usually in the face of overwhelming evidence. by lastresort.com - written on 13/12/10

Lastminute.com - it should be shut down

I have been so disgusted by a service like lastminute.com.au. They double charged our credit card eight thousand dollars, leaving us financially destitute for over a week.

When they refunded the money, after numerous phone calls, they refused to take any responsibility for what occured. The supervisor of the head office on York St was the most unhelpful person in that business. She was rude and lied to us about the money several times.

She refused to reimburse us, until finally after a staggering 42 phone calls; she told us to "f•ck off" and that she won't compensate us. I will never deal with Lastminute.com.au again. Never has booking a ticket caused my family so much trouble. They should be shut down. Adrian_Bruno, March 25, 2010

They take your money and don't book you on your flight

I found the site very easy to use and paid with my switch card. The whole process took less than five minutes to find the cheapest flights with British airways and to get verification of payment and booking.

All very well until we got to Belfast City Airport to find that we where not booked unto our flight. The girl at the British Airways customer services desk was extremely helpful and phoned last minute.com for us.

Eventually after holding for 20 minutes and missing our flights she got through to someone who could not trace our booking even though we had the booking reference number. She was then put on hold until he got a supervisor, who then tried to tell her that the money had not been debited from our account. She was able to tell him that this was not the case as I luckily had my bank statement showing the debit of £127.00 and also she could see the authorisation number on her computor screen. veramck

*&^%$!: some very interesting and important reviews on lastminute.com are been removed from this site! What's on?!

Lastminute.com - the scam

I bought a £500 present on the 11th December, as of today I still haven't received the present or my money back. I have been accused of lying on more than one occassion by their CS dept and I have nothing but unhelpful service when I have tried to email or contact them by phone.

I am so incensed by my experience that I have contacted Watchdog and I would urge others to do the same, maybe then they will sit up and take notice. by wendybinns - written on 23/01/11, updated on 23/01/11

Lastminute.com - blatant rip off

Lastminute.com - absolute rubbish!

if you get an error online , forget it and try someone else - thats what the help line say ..

spent ages trying to make a booking and fails at the payment bit ...calling the helpline is a complete waste of time ! Bast@rds hang me up twice, so be warned!

they r a blatent rip off and i steer well clear !

Lastminute.com is rubbish

Lastminute.com is rubbish.

1) I bought an item which came with "two free air-tickets". This turned out to be a voucher which could only be redeemed by post at 14 days notice. Last minute?

2) Later, I bought another air-ticket. After confirming the purchase, Lastminute told me there was a problem and I should contact the airline. The airline told me Lastminute had sold a ticket for a non-existent flight! Lastminute denied all blame.

I've also seen "bargain rates" which were actually the hotel's standard offer price.

Lastminute.com caters for people who are "cash-rich but time-poor", ie. they're busy and can afford to be ripped off. If you are cash-poor and time-poor, this is not for you!

Note: this is not for anybody!

lastminute.com - bastards

So angry right now!

Booked a flight for a good price thorough lastminute.com, but they said my card didn't work - hours later when the good price was gone they tell my my card is all right. Of course it was - I never had any problems with it before and they all ready deposit over 900 £ from my bank!

Spend the next day (over 9 hours of hell on there webpage where every time you click on a good price finds out the tickets doesn't exist) and finally found new tickets. Only to find out I can't book it AGAIN! Even if I got a confirmation from them saying it would not be any more problems.

Try to call them, and talk to their "sales department" - witch was a total joke. Couldn't here a word the woman said, in India or something, and she never heard a about a country called Rwanda or even less that the capital is Kigali. Even when I try to spell Kigali - "kenneth... Ipod..." yhee in the end I just hang up.

Never ever again, 48 hours of hell with lastminute.com

Only hope I get the money back! Idiots.

Note: they are not idiots. They know very well whats they are doing.

Lastminute.com - Absolutely disgusting

Absolutely disgusting service will not buy anything from this company again did not reply to any of my e-mails and couldn't even speak to a person on the telephone on hold for 20 minutes, gave up in the end, don't even bother with them they are rubbish

BEWARE!

Before you book with company BEWARE. I booked flights for April 2011. Due to tragic family circumstances i had to cancel, Lastminute would not entertain a refund. Be very careful when booking with this company. I contacted the airline and they said, had i booked through them they would have refunded

£500 cancelation fee!

If i could give this operator 0 stars or even minus i would, booked a hotel stay and was charged £500 cancelation fee, i could understand an admin charge but not £500, they should be disgusted with themselves, it was only booked with them for 10 minutes and it cost me a ridiculous amount
